Back in the mid-80s, Rankin/Bass Productions created a cartoon series called ThunderCats. In this show, a group of residents of Thundera flee their homeworld to “Third Earth” in which they are beset by Mumm-ra. Lion-o, the leader of the ThunderCats, had only the “Eye of Thundera” to remind him of home. This eye was embedded in the Sword of Omens and grew in size with the phrase, “Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats….HO!”
