Matchstick modeller Patrick Acton has successfully completed a feat that few would undertake…creating a model of Minas Tirith based on the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. The city of the kings, the capital of Gondor and home of the White Tree only took 3 years and 420,000 matchsticks (where do you find that many?!?!) and tons of patience. But then again, with this museum with other matchstick creations being located in Iowa, what else is there to do?

Either way, I salute you Patrick. That model is beyond incredible!
